    Multi-directional Expanded PTFE is virgin PTFE to which a  stress resistance has been added by means of molecular rearrangement during  manufacture. This process ensures that the molecular chains from which the PTFE is constructed, do not  arrange themselves into set patterns.  

    This means that expanded PTFE possesses no  structural weakness (grain) and expands and contracts equally in all  directions. Because no additives are required,expanded PTFE also possesses the unique chemical resistance of virgin PTFE .


    Expanded PTFE Sheet made from 100% PTFE,  developed by a highly specific treatment of PTFE Fluorocarbon. It has a high  tensile strength, flexibility, hardness, chemical and thermal resistance,  making it an excellent material for gasket seals in the most extreme  conditions.


    Expanded PTFE Sheet is a high performance sheet gasket material made of multi-directionally expanded virgin PTFE. It is a soft, form-in-place gasket material that conforms to almost any sealing surface. It is capable of withstanding a wide range of pressure, temperature and chemical environments. Due to its highly fibrillated microstructure, it has excellent creep resistance compared with other PTFE products.
